This is a hybrid sport that combines kiting and boardsurfing - and by harnessing the powerful forces of the wind and waves, you have a new extreme leisure pursuit - kite-surfing, so if you are interested to join in the fun and explore this thrilling leisure pursuit, the first thing you need to do is to grab hold of a teaching kite. A teaching kite is useful to develop the elementary feel and how to take control of the kite’s flight and ways to steer it by harnessing the powerful forces of the wind. Surface control can be achieved through tilting, sheeting and reefing. Speed control is as important to a kite surfer as controlling speed is essential to a automobile driver. Basically, it just involves knowing how to increase speed and decrease speed. When you have learnt all of these fundamental skills, you can move on t learn more advanced skills that will make you a star riding on the waves. Now you are ready for some challenging stuff, have fun jibing, jumping, looping, wave riding as you blaze through the ocean riding a wave.
